Alys Young contributed to an IUCN Red List of Ecosystems training workshop in the Phillipines, hosted by the Wildlife Conservation Society. Alys demonstrated modelling from the Global Ecosystem Atlas to produce ecosystem maps, essential information to assess ecosystem extent and change.

Lab members Nick Murray and Tom Lloyd travelled to Bogor, Indonesia to contribute to a workshop focused on identifying, mapping and assessing the status of all of Indonesia's ecosystems. We're excited to continue contributing to such important conservation initatives.

Nick Murray delivered a training workshop on "Earth Observation for Conservation" at the IORA Forum - Earth Observation for an Indian Ocean Blue Economy Workshop. The workshop gave participants an opportunity to learn remote sensing classification models via our free online app www.remap-app.org.
