Our Lab

ALLISON LYNN

Alli is a Spatial Ecologist for the Global Ecology Lab. She obtained a Bachelor of Biochemistry/Statistics from Loyola University Maryland, where she completed research projects on microplastics and bacteriophage genomics. She then worked as a Molecular and Cellular Scientist, developing cellular biology and virology skills.

In 2023, Alli moved to Australia to complete a Master of Tropical Biology and Conservation at James Cook University, where she gained research experience in animal/insect handling and wildlife management. She is passionate about protecting and restoring ecosystems and biodiversity through fieldwork and remote sensing.

For the lab, Alli uses her expertise in ecology to classify ecosystems and evaluate spatial data for integration into the Global Ecosystems Atlas, mapped to the IUCN Global Ecosystem Typology.
